Jamaicans are busy on the Billboard charts this week. Here's a quick glance. On the Rap Singles chart, Baby Cham's Ghetto Story falls from 22 to 23, while Sean Paul is new at 21 with Give It Up To Me. Over on the Billboard Hot 100, Give It Up To Me is bubbling. Moving over to the R&B/ Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart, Ghetto Story moves from 46 to 43, while Beenie Man's Hmm Hmm produced by Tony Kelly glides from 56 to 46. Sean Paul's Give It Up To Me moves from 74 to 50, while Busy Signal debuts at number 73 with Step Out. Interestingly, producer Donovan 'Don Corleon' Bennett is listed as producer.
Over on Billboard's Dance Music Club Play chart, Claudja Barry (former Boney M member and dance music singer from the 1970s) moves up from 41 to 33 with I Will Stand. And finally, Third World member Bunny Rugs is credited as solo artiste on the song Now That We Found Love, which debuts at number 43. Incidentally, Rugs sang lead on Third World's cover of the OJay's original, which charted on Billboard's R&B and disco charts in 1979.
