Things have been pretty good for Tool lately. "10,000 Days," the Los Angeles-based metal outfit's first release in five years, debuted at No. 1 in countries around the world (selling over 550,000 copies in the United States alone).
The band re-emerged with a thunderous appearance at Coachella, but dates for its rumored fall tour are an unknown. One thing is for sure: Tool will headline Street Scene '06.
The two-day festival will take place Aug. 4-5 (that's Friday and Saturday) at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. Multiple stages will feature sets by Kanye West, Social Distortion, Snoop Dogg, Sean Paul, AFI, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Modest Mouse, Queens of the Stone Age, My Chemical Romance, Wu Tang Clan, Bad Religion, Bloc Party, Steel Pulse, Slightly Stoopid, G. Love & Special Sauce, Matchbook Romance, the Futureheads, Tricky, Editors, Bedouin Soundclash, Rock Kills Kid, the Colourand more. The schedule is TBA.
